In 1988 the "Michelin" (tyres) van was released as a limited edition. It had a blue body, black chassis and yellow roof and the tampo displayed a different design on each side. It was fitted with chromed 12 spoke wheels on normal round head axles with riveted ends. It had a chrome plated radiator with a black grille and brown seats and cab rear bulkhead.

The total production of the Michelin model was 53,358.

Livery: (Tampo)
'MICHELIN' in yellow above white and black Michelin man with yellow box across his back. 'TOO SMALL A TYRE IS SOON RUINED' in black on left side of van side panels.
'MICHELIN' in yellow above white and black Michelin man holding a yellow baloon. 'PUMP UP EVERY FRIDAY' in black on right side of van side panels.
'MICHELIN' in yellow on both van doors.
'MICHELIN TYRES', 'TECHNICAL DEPT', 'NO CHARGE' and 'Mchelin Tyres' in yellow with black and white Michelin man on rear doors.

Variations/Rarities: This model can have either bright yellow or lemon yellow tampo although neither type is rare.
